A Castle Full of Cats presents an engaging blend of hidden object gameplay with elements reminiscent of the metroidvania genre. The game unfolds with a structure that offers branching paths, the quest for keys, enigmatic non-player characters, and additional intriguing features.

Fofiño, the protagonist, has been afflicted by a malevolent entity's curse, leading to a peculiar transformation of the castle's feline inhabitants into charming yet shadowy creatures. Amid this predicament, it's up to Lily, the calico cat and Fofiño's soulmate, to take on the role of savior and dispel the wicked enchantment that has befallen the castle.
