You will land on an island where players scavenge for weapons, gear, and vehicles while battling to be the last one standing. The battleground is shrinking regularly, pushing players toward each other. Players can choose to play solo, duo, or in squads, adding a layer of teamwork and communication to the gameplay experience. PUBG Mobile offers several game modes, including:

BP and UC

What is PUBG Mobile?
It is a free-to-play Battle Royale where 100 players parachute onto an island, scavenge for weapons, and fight to be the last one standing. It is a separate game from the PC/Console version (PUBG: Battlegrounds), with its own maps, mechanics, and exclusive collaborations (like the Jujutsu Kaisen event).
Is PUBG Mobile on PS4?
No. PUBG Mobile is strictly for iOS and Android. However, the separate console version, PUBG: Battlegrounds, actually ended support for PS4 and Xbox One on November 13, 2025. If you want to play on a console, you must now use a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S.
Is PUBG Mobile crossplay?
- Android and iOS: Full crossplay is supported. You can squad up with friends regardless of their phone.
- Mobile and PC/Console: No. PUBG Mobile is a completely different game engine and ecosystem than the PC/Console version.
- Emulator Players: If you use the official PC emulator (Gameloop), you will only be matched with other emulator users to keep the game fair for touch-screen players.
Is PUBG Mobile on Switch?
No. There is currently no version of PUBG Mobile for the Nintendo Switch.
Can you play PUBG Mobile with a controller?
Not natively on mobile. The mobile app does not officially support Bluetooth controllers (Xbox/PlayStation). Using "key-mapper" apps to force controller support can get your account banned for 10 years because it provides an unfair advantage over touch users.
Exception: You can use a controller if you play on PC via the GameLoop emulator, as you'll be matched with other non-touch players.
