Two deadly new units join the Tyranid roster

The Broodlord is a melee behemoth capable of disrupting the minds of nearby targets. The Broodlord summons the might of the Hive Mind and uses its Paroxysm psychic ability to render a unit worthless in combat before leaping onto them with its Monstrous Rending Claws. While the Broodlord remains on the battlefield, any nearby Genestealers can use the Broodlord's Evolved Brood Telepathy to swarm through the enemy's defenses.

The Hive Guard are massive armored ranged units that use deadly bio-cannons on their targets. To eliminate their opponents, Hive Guard units can use either the Impaler Cannon or the Shockcannon. The Impaler Cannons' psychic shard-beast ammo ducks and weaves past obstructions, rendering all but the strongest cover ineffective. Shockcannons rip apart mechanized opponents' armour, stopping tanks in their tracks and putting even the mightiest dreadnoughts to their knees.
