This time, the fan-favorite grand strategy series takes players to ancient Egypt as Total War: Pharaoh lets you rule the land of the pyramids at the heights of its power. The game combines turn-based management of your empires with thrilling real-time battles.

Release date

Total War: Pharaoh will be released in October 2023; however, the exact date of the premiere hasn't been revealed yet. It will be available on PC and macOS. You can get a glimpse of the game by watching the trailer.

Lead your nation

In the campaign, you may assume the role of the Egyptian Pharaoh, ruler of Canaanites, or Great King of the Hittites. Choose one of eight faction leaders with different playstyles determined by such factors as wealth, speed of progress, number of resources, susceptibility to rebellions, and more. Use their unique units and abilities to take over Egypt, Canaan, and Anatolia as a commander of a brutal army or wise diplomat.

Total War: Pharaoh offers a wide range of campaign customization options. You may gain an advantage or raise the difficulty level by picking factions' starting positions, adjusting resource settings, and changing the impact of natural disasters. This way, every campaign in the game is unique.
