Reviews
- User bought The Evil Within 2 EN Global from PriceAxe
As someone who really disliked the first game, I had a lot of fun with the sequel. Combining open world gameplay with more linear environments, allowing for stealth or combat against enemies and catering to both casual and hardcore survival horror fans.

The Evil Within 2 tells a pretty interesting story about a guy stuck in a nightmarish world trying to make sense of things and just rescue his daughter. It's scary at times, action packed but always pretty polished.

New Game Plus mode allows high replayability and there's plenty of unlockables and collectibles for completionists. With an I7, GTX 1080 and 16gb ram I've had no peformance issues either and the game looks stellar most of the time. If you didn't enjoy the original game maybe wait until it's on sale, but otherwise I'd say check it out.
- The graphics have improved slightly. Sounds and voice acting is again good.
While it has become a bit more action orientated, I like the sequel a bit more in terms of the gameplay.
From my point of view The Evil Within 2 is a good sequel and if you liked the first you should give it a try.

Sounds 8/10
Graphics 9/10
Gameplay 9/10
Atmosphere 8/10
- User bought The Evil Within 2 EN Global from PriceAxeThe Evil Within 2 is a solid survival-horror game. It scares you and keeps you tense at all times. Despite the minor flaws you will be enjoying a 15 hours game full of sick, twisted, bloody and scary events, which will haunt you for days. A must buy.
- User bought The Evil Within 2 EN Global from MarossThis time the world has more structure to it compared to its predecessor. It has an open world map with safe houses scattered around, yet it's small enough to still feel like horror game.
The story felt crazy and unpredictable, while the ending was quite satisfying.
While the first game focused on discovering wtf is going on, the sequel is a bit more of a personal journey of Sebastian.
There are plenty of differences when it comes to mechanics, and it improves a lot from the first game.

Excellent and underrated game. If you like genuinely good horror with open world RPG mechanics, give this a shot.
- User bought The Evil Within 2 EN Global from Playtime (old account)It really took me too long to recover this second chapter of a video game that I loved and replayed several times when it came out. The Evil Within 2 takes what was good in the first and expands it. A more of the same that was exactly what I asked for.
