Around halfway through the main campaign tale, ANNIHILATION LINE begins. Though Jacob Rivers and the Resistance have just vanquished their first Infiltrator, there is no time for relaxation. John Connor himself has given him orders to help with the investigation of Northridge Outpost, a civilian hamlet that has abruptly stopped talking. Why didn't any Northridge residents try to radio in? Is Skynet responsible for this? Are the civilians still living, too? Rivers and a small group of Resistance fighters under the command of Connor's right-hand man Kyle Reese must venture into the most hazardous area on earth—the region past the Annihilation Line—in order to obtain answers.
