The Street Fighter franchise

Street Fighter is one of the most significant video games series. Even though its first installment wasn't particularly successful, Capcom decided to release a sequel. This was a brilliant decision! Street Fighter II was released in 1991 and took amusement arcades by storm. Players fell in love with colorful, diverse characters and entertaining gameplay. Many companies tried to copy Capcom's success, thus making fighting games one of the most popular genres. We don't know much about the game because it is still under development. In the Street Fighter VI teaser trailer, we can see Ryu and Luke. The latter was the last DLC character added to Street Fighter V, and many fans guessed that he would play a pivotal role in the future Street Fighter title. As for Ryu, he has been one of the most significant warriors since the dawn of the franchise; hence, his return is not surprising. However, now he wears shoes, which is kinda new.

Street Fighter VI will be released on June 2, 2023, according to an official announcement from Capcom. The most recent game in the well-known series will be playable on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.
