The magnificent VII

Sid Meier's Civilization VII brings many exciting changes and enhancements to the beloved 4X franchise. Despite these innovations, the core gameplay that fans cherish remains intact: guide your nation through the ages, navigate challenges and crises, and strive to achieve one of several victory conditions.

This is your story

In Civilization VII, players choose from a variety of leaders, each bringing unique abilities to their civilization. However, as you progress into a new era, your civilization evolves into a completely new nation. This next civilization builds upon the legacy of its predecessor, with your choices and accomplishments shaping which elements are carried forward. As a result, each run can be an entirely different experience.

Start easily, play as you like

New players can dive in with an upgraded tutorial designed to teach core mechanics and strategies with ease. Meanwhile, veterans who have played hundreds of hours in previous Civilization games can challenge their strategic skills by competing against others online. With cross-play support, finding opponents to match your skill level should be fast and easy.
