Meet the Pirates of Mara

Koa, a young girl, lives on a small island in Mara's southern archipelago with her best friend Napopo. One day, she receives a telegram from her buddy Mayo requesting assistance. After receiving the telegram, Koa realized there was an emergency and boarded a ship bound for Mayo. When Koa meets Mayo, she learns that five Mara pirates have wrecked the island of Qälis, where many of their friends dwell, and have set up the "pirate trials." Koa and Napopo resolve to take on the job of restoring Qälis.

Discover "map fragments" dispersed by pirates and explore the islands of Mara, which include the Koa Island, the Pirates' Fort, the Volcanic Island, and the Great Iceberg. Each island is made up of four basic stages, each jam-packed with ones that players will appreciate, such as trap-filled stages, speed-through stages, and underwater stages. Pirates await you at the end of each island, where you can engage in a furious combat that takes advantage of the unique peculiarities of each island. You can reclaim stolen things from the city of Qälis and change Koa's clothing by finding concealed items on the stage. You can also find hidden goods and enhance Koa's boat to travel to other locations.
