Copycat is a heartwarming, narrative-driven indie game that explores the emotional bond between a shelter cat and a lonely human, weaving themes of abandonment, love, and the search for home. Set against vibrant visuals, the game invites players to reflect on life’s darker, more personal themes while experiencing the journey of two souls who find solace in each other.

The protagonist, Dawn, is a wary shelter cat who sees herself as a wild animal, longing for freedom. She's determined to escape and live on her own terms, refusing to believe she could ever belong to a human again. But her perspective shifts when she’s adopted by Olive, a grieving elderly woman who recently lost her beloved pet. As Dawn and Olive form a deep, healing bond, they slowly mend each other's broken hearts, reminding one another what it means to love and be loved.

However, things take a dramatic turn when Olive becomes ill, and a mysterious stray cat—a "copycat"—replaces Dawn in Olive’s home. This forces Dawn back onto the streets, where she embarks on a journey of self-discovery through alleyways and rooftops. As she navigates the challenges of life on the streets, Dawn must confront her past and decide what "home" truly means.
