About the base game:

RPG masters from Obsidian present Avowed, a first-player role-playing game that will let you embark on an epic adventure. Your journey takes you to Living Lands, a part of Eora, the world known from the Obsidian hit series Pillars of Eternity. The story begins when you, an envoy from the Aedyr Empire, are sent to a remote island to investigate a mysterious plague haunting the land.

The living land

A great RPG needs compelling characters. Therefore, on your path, you will meet colorful NPCs and possible companions who may join you, providing their unique abilities.
