Yakuza Kiwami

Yakuza Kiwami, like the original game, is a role-playing action-adventure title set in an open world. You’ll take control of Kazuma Kiryu, an ex-gang member, who took the blame for his boss’s murder. During the gameplay, you’ll explore the area of Kamurocho, a fictional district of Tokyo. Yakuza Kiwami’s action takes place in 1995, 8 years after the events from Yakuza 0. In order to save his friends, Yakuza takes the blame for the murder of Dojima, the boss of the Tojo clan. After ten years in jail, Yakuza goes free into the world which he barely recognizes. What’s worse, his friend Yumi is nowhere to be found.

Kazuma Kiryu thought his Tojo Clan days were behind him. He and the young girl in his care, Haruka Sawamura, have built a peaceful life from the ashes of conflict. All it took was a single gunshot to shatter that peace. Yukio Terada, the Fifth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, has been assassinated. With war on the horizon, the legendary Dragon of Dojima is pulled back into the world he wanted to leave behind. Kiryu must travel to Sotenbori, Osaka in an attempt to broker peace between the rival clans, but Ryuji Goda, known as the Dragon of Kansai, will stop at nothing to get his war. In this world, there can only be one dragon.
