- I haven't tried project cars 2 yet, but project cars 1 is by far the best simulator I have tried! the feel of everything is fluid, the racing is realistic (ai don't run on rails! its actually quite amusing to watch as one in front males a mistakes and ends up causing a 4 car pile up as you franticly dodge and dart trying to avoid a crash, while keeping control f your car from spinning out and understeering)

I would advise playing with a rig (steering wheel, pedals clutch gears), the amount of hours I sank into configuring a normal gamepad behave like you'd expect, was tiring. soon as I plugged a wheel in, I felt right at home, no config needed. the game was clearly design to be played by an enthusiast, not a casual controller racer.
