- You probably already know that this game is not like Grand Ages Rome. You place where your cities go but you don't place your individual buildings. This game has been streamlined from the micromanagement of the previous games. This game is much more of a trading sim like Patrician or Port Royal but on land. The traders are even automated to buy low and sell high so you don't even need to focus on that as much like other trading games. <br /><br />You are the overseer and ruler keeping it all running smooth. There is a decent selection of military units but the army battles are not much to look at so if you want a game like Total War you will be disappointed. The armies even auto battle. Once I understood what my role in the game was I really enjoy playing the game. I find it relaxing to play. It has decent graphics and runs well. If you like trading and expanding your empire with the profits you earn. I recommend you get this game.
