Why you should buy Dark Souls Remastered:
- You're looking for a challenging game,
- You like dark fantasy,
- You're a fan of FromSoftware games.
When someone implies that all modern games are too easy, you should tell them bout Dark Souls. This FromSoftware masterpiece redefined the action role-playing game genre. Its popularity proved that many players seek a challenge and don't mind repeating the same fight thousands of times when the game itself is rewarding and immersive. The original Dark Souls game was released in 2011. Its remaster lets you dive into this grim and violent world in 4K resolution.
Memorable adventure
As a cursed undead, you'll explore the land of Lordran, seeking ancient artifacts that let you determine the fate of the world. Walking the land and visiting places allows you to discover new pieces of this dark world mythology. Unfortunately, this journey is not a safe one. Many mighty and fearsome enemies will cross your path. However, dealing with them is probably the best part of Dark Souls.
Dark Souls bosses
Dark Souls bosses look disturbing. Moreover, each of them has unique attacks and deadly abilities. You have to learn their moves and execute your strategy flawlessly in order to succeed. It usually means that you must repeat every fight dozens of times, but every failure gives you a valuable lesson. Dark Souls fights are tough but fair, so every boss beaten gives you a great deal of satisfaction and reason to continue your journey.

Reviews
- User bought Dark Souls Remastered EN Global from GameSaloonDark Souls doesn't need introduction. Its stunning art direction, innovative combat mechanics, immersive world, ingenious level design and of course its remarkably punishing difficulty have brought this product to universal success. The HD remaster, however, is a bit lazy. The improvements to the lighting in the magic spells, the quality of life and the rock solid 60 fps are welcome indeed, but there was no improvement to the textures, materials of armors and weapons don't show the original details in the textures and sometimes the reflections and transparencies are out of place. All the glitches in the original game are still present, with the addition of more, the changes made to assets such as the bloodstains, the messages and the bonfires are bad. The remaster is too bright and saturated. Overall, I recommend the game to those who have not experienced the original, but at the same time I suggest playing the original for the real vision of its creator.
- User bought Dark Souls Remastered EN Global from GameWorldAlthough famously difficult, this game makes for great playing and i thoroughly enjoyed my experience with it. The level of satisfaction derived from beating a boss or level is close to none you could expect from other similar games.
- Nothing really to say about Dark Souls. Its the best one of the all series, now immagine even Remastered
Too good!
- Dark souls has a special place in our hearts. This is the recreation of those good old days
- You will die, a lot! It's hard and unforgiving but once you get to know more about the mechanics, weapons, spells, objects and you understand what character you want to build, you'll start to feel deeply immersed in the dark beauty of the world of Dark Souls.
The Remastered could have done more but if you don't own the old edition, then absolutely get this one!
