Tales of Arise is the latest title in the Tales series of fantasy action RPG games developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game features gorgeous anime-inspired graphics consistent with the previous installments in the series, and takes the player on a magical journey as they help solve the conflict between two worlds - Dahna and Rena.

Dahna and Rena - Twin Worlds in conflict

In Tales of Arise, players are thrown right in the middle of a conflict between the world of Dahna - a medieval world, the inhabitants of which have been enslaved for over 300 years by the Rena people. Renans live in a world of technological advancement, using everything in their arsenal to exert power and control over the Dahna people, separating the natives of the land with walls into areas and districts.
