Help Mako stop the Amber Storms

Welcome to the expansive and enigmatic world of Akatori, an engrossing fusion of explosive action platformer gameplay and traditional metroidvania. You will take on the role of Mako, a teenage girl who was nurtured in the Firebird Temple and sets out on a quest to rescue all living things from the Amber Storms that are contaminating and warping them.

Along for the ride will be an enigmatic red bird enclosed in a staff. The staff it can change into may be helpful, even though its origins and intentions are still unclear. It can be used as a weapon to defeat adversaries or as a navigational aid to discover every inch of the locations you'll be visiting.
