Prey è un gioco d'azione fantascientifico in prima persona sviluppato da Arkane Studios, i pluripremiati creatori di Dishonored, eletto "Gioco dell'anno" nel 2012. Noti per il loro gameplay creativo, i mondi unici e le storie coinvolgenti, Arkane reinventa questo franchise dalle fondamenta, con un tocco psicologico in più. In Prey, vesti i panni del primo umano potenziato con poteri alieni a bordo di una desolata stazione spaziale sotto attacco. Improvvisa e innova per sopravvivere mentre cerchi risposte. Prey è una nuova audace storia ambientata in un universo pericoloso.
In Prey, ti risvegli a bordo di Talos I, una stazione spaziale in orbita attorno alla Luna nell'anno 2032. Sei il soggetto chiave di un esperimento destinato a cambiare per sempre il destino dell'umanità, ma qualcosa è andato terribilmente storto. La stazione spaziale è stata invasa da alieni ostili e ora sei braccato. Mentre indaghi sugli oscuri segreti di Talos I e sul tuo passato, dovrai sopravvivere usando gli strumenti che troverai sulla stazione, il tuo ingegno, le armi e le tue incredibili capacità mentali. Il destino di Talos I e di tutti coloro che si trovano a bordo è nelle tue mani.

- The game is genuinely good and has many original aspects to it as the inhibitors weapons and ways you can decide to use all you have available to you as you like in many ways good story with mulple endings and a few secrets keep this been fun and new for quite a while the story is intriguing and very mysterious as you yourself can become part of the story quite plenty now the only cons would be : Low enemy variety, Low human npc interactions or seen them in action in anyway on gameplay your mostly alone later on in a way that you wont feel like your doing anything to effect the scarce community of the hub and Ship just your brother and Enemies and the main part to know more about some extra people and Lore is through DLC wich is a con and pro in itself but its costly by a bit.
- There is little I can say that hasn't already been said in previous reviews. I can only reiterate over the many positives that make this game an absolute gem. Masterful level design boasting verticality and openness; each level is designed for multiple methods of engagement. A vast number of tools ranging from unconventional weapons and powers to your standard shotgun and pistol. And of course a captivating story that keeps you playing long into the night just to find out what happens next. In fact, the only criticism I can give is a few minor bugs and the underwhelming difficulty of the game especially as you begin to take in more and more neuromods. For reference I played the game on Nightmare will all the of the survival options on and I still found the game to be more apt for a normal difficulty level.
