Prey est un jeu d'action-aventure à la première personne développé par Arkane Studios, les créateurs primés de Dishonored, élu « Jeu de l'année » en 2012. Reconnu pour son gameplay créatif, ses univers uniques et ses scénarios immersifs, Arkane réinvente la franchise en y ajoutant une dimension psychologique. Dans Prey, vous incarnez le premier humain doté de pouvoirs extraterrestres à bord d'une station spatiale isolée et attaquée. Dans Prey, vous vous réveillez à bord de Talos I, une station spatiale en orbite autour de la Lune en 2032. Vous êtes le sujet principal d'une expérience visant à transformer l'humanité à jamais, mais tout a mal tourné. La station spatiale est envahie par des extraterrestres hostiles et vous êtes désormais traqué. En explorant les sombres secrets de Talos I et de votre propre passé, vous devrez survivre grâce aux outils trouvés sur la station, à votre intelligence, à vos armes et à vos pouvoirs psychiques. Le destin de Talos I et de tous ses occupants repose entre vos mains.

- The game is genuinely good and has many original aspects to it as the inhibitors weapons and ways you can decide to use all you have available to you as you like in many ways good story with mulple endings and a few secrets keep this been fun and new for quite a while the story is intriguing and very mysterious as you yourself can become part of the story quite plenty now the only cons would be : Low enemy variety, Low human npc interactions or seen them in action in anyway on gameplay your mostly alone later on in a way that you wont feel like your doing anything to effect the scarce community of the hub and Ship just your brother and Enemies and the main part to know more about some extra people and Lore is through DLC wich is a con and pro in itself but its costly by a bit.
- There is little I can say that hasn't already been said in previous reviews. I can only reiterate over the many positives that make this game an absolute gem. Masterful level design boasting verticality and openness; each level is designed for multiple methods of engagement. A vast number of tools ranging from unconventional weapons and powers to your standard shotgun and pistol. And of course a captivating story that keeps you playing long into the night just to find out what happens next. In fact, the only criticism I can give is a few minor bugs and the underwhelming difficulty of the game especially as you begin to take in more and more neuromods. For reference I played the game on Nightmare will all the of the survival options on and I still found the game to be more apt for a normal difficulty level.
