- Well i bought this game because i had gold version of Disciples II and must say its was a interesting adventure, but game has its flaws. First one the campaign's are sure challenging but very short. We have 4 fractions Empire, Legions of the Dammed, Hordes of the Undead and Mountain Clans. Each of those fractions has its own castle and units just lie in continuation level up by experience gained by units and bullrings that can stand in castle but it's lack of variety in them, also low resolution of the game make the game look worse, and s AI act weird sometime acting like a dump and on the other side act like master of the game which can be annoying The Core mechanic are bit worse made that they were done in the 2nd game but that was a beginning so its ok. The Gold Edition fixes some of the flaws and 25 new maps and an improved multi. I can recommend this if your looking for interesting TBS
