Warlords Battlecry III è la terza edizione della serie ibrida RTS/RPG, che è essa stessa uno spin-off dei giochi di strategia a turni Warlords di SSG. Come i suoi predecessori, Battlecry III è ambientato nel mondo di spade e stregoneria di Etheria, una terra popolata da umani, orchi, elfi e altre razze fantasy. I giocatori scelgono un personaggio eroe che guiderà le loro forze attraverso una serie di missioni in tempo reale, piene di combattimenti. Gli eroi si sviluppano man mano che si muovono con successo attraverso la campagna, godendo di miglioramenti personalizzati ottenuti attraverso l'esperienza.

- I played this RTS a lot in my childhood and it was always fun for me music is very climatic and lore is very interesting. Graphics seems odd, now but on the other hand it has some charm, only ai can seem to be little dump but thankfully, the steam always has the newest patch made by fans. Each race has some unique units and there are so many of race 18 if you count, and each has a other start in the game and story very putted to the lore. the only bad thing i remember from the game was a expensive cost in gold for some units, and sometime units can block in buildings so you must control them well, but those flaws are not that big. I was playing on the last official patch some maybe in the latests fan patch it was repaired. Nevertheless highly recommend everyone to play this classic.
