Story is much more darker than in HOMM, so the graphic i also climatic and music. in Base game we have 4 races and each has story we can play in the 2nd addon rive of elves we have a new race and one new story., in total we can choose 5 races (Humans, Demons, Undead,, Dwarf's an Elves), Each of them is unique play and single missions. Only the multi don't work well, so we can't use the editor, but i recommend it anyway to play it
