GAMIVO COSPLAY CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The Terms & Conditions apply to the relations between GAMIVO and an online individual participant. 
  2. GAMIVO Cosplay Contest [hereinafter: Contest] is organized GAMIVO.com Limited [hereinafter: GAMIVO], registered under laws of Malta, bearing Company Registration No. C 90983 and having its registered office at 99 Dingli Street, SLM 1905 Sliema, Malta, email address: .
  3. GAMIVO does not require any purchase or payment of any kind to enter or win the contest. 
  4. No purchase on GAMIVO platform may increase participant’s chances of winning. 
  5. By entering the Contest, participants accept and will be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

  7. The Contest is open to persons aged eighteen (18) years or older, except employees, agents, contractors or consultants of GAMIVO and their immediate families, the GAMIVO's associated companies and anyone else professionally connected with the Contest [hereinafter: Participants].
  8. This Contest is void where prohibited by local law.
  9. The Contest is open for entries on 24th July 2021 [hereinafter: Opening Date] and closes on 8th August 2021  [hereinafter: Closing Date]. The period from the Opening Date to and including the Closing Date shall be referred to as the “Contest Period”.
  10. GAMIVO will not be responsible for entries received after the Contest Period or for entries not received for any other reason.
  11. To enter the Contest, Participants need to create a low-budget cosplay repated to any of their favorite computer games. A photo of such a cosplay must be posted on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #Gamivo4you or send by an e-mail to contest@gamivo.com, during the Contest Period. The post of e-mail have to include also the name of the character presented in the cosplay. No other methods of entry will be accepted. 
  12. The rules for the Contest cosplays are:
    • a) digital edits must be kept to minimum, 
    • b) entry cosplay must be photographed – any conceptual drawings/heavily digitally edited entries will not be accepted,
    • c) entry must depict a video game character,
    • d) entry must be made and submitted byParticipant and made for this contest.
    • e) entry can’t include any logos, advertisements, product names, or product placements.
    • f) entry must be appropriate for all ages. 
    • g) Entry may not infringe any copyrights, design or trademark rights.
  13. Each Participant who completes a cosplay entry as indicated on the Contest Page, will have a chance to win one of the following prizes:
    • a) 2 x Gaming Chair Diablo X-Horn 2.0, 
    • b) 2 x 150 Euro Gamivo Balance
  14. Total esstimated recovery value for the prizes is 750 Euro. 
  15. There will be four winners. 
  16. GAMIVO shall pick winners for the prizes from all the Participants submitted to the Contest during the Contest Period (“Winners”), based on the general creativity, originality or adherence to the spirit of low budget. The pick will be made by a GAMIVO’s marketing department team. 
  17. GAMIVO will pich winners at 10th August 2021. 
  18. The Winners will be announced on GAMIVO Social media pages. The photos of the best cosplays will be shared on our social media, and will be featured in an announcement of the winners 
  19. Winners will be contacted personally through their Social Media account for further details on receiving the prize. 
  20. In order to claim their prize, the Winners must respond and provide, if requested by GAMIVO, any additional information necessary to facilitate prize delivery or confirm identification, within three (3) days of the GAMIVO’s email.
  21. If GAMIVO does not receive a response to its notification within three (3) days of the date of notification, GAMIVO reserves the right to cancel the prize entitlement.
  22. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and GAMIVO reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  23. Data submitted by Participants will be used only for the purpose of administering the Contest. Your personal data will be stored for a period of no longer than three years. GAMIVO is the controller of your personal data within the scope covered by Consent. To the extent permitted by applicable law consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent, however, does not affect the legality of processing that takes place on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.

    GAMIVO reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these Terms & Conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the GAMIVO’s control.

    Without prejudice to the provision of law applicable in relations with the consumers, the Terms & Conditions and any other documents related to the Contest and services rendered through the Platform are governed by and should be interpreted in accordance with laws of Republic of Malta.
