Hotline Miami is a fun top down shooter with a unique style of gameplay not seen in other games. The style is simple and colorful with plenty of gore and brutality! Also this game has plenty of replay value with secrets and masks you can use to spice things up! Another thing the combat has plenty of weapons to satisfy your gore filled adventure with a story thats quite simple.<br>8/10

This game is almost perfect. Gorgeous top-down graphics. Fantastic gameplay. 10/10 soundtrack that you will keep listening to even after finishing the game. This game is a part of my personality. I know I sound way too enthusiastic but that is because I love this game so much!<br><br>At the time of this review, I have 12.6 hours and 35/35 achievements. I also did every level A+ and unlocked every playable character.<br><br>Gameplay<br>A top-down shooter with guns. Lots of guns. In fact, there are also several melee weapons. You play as different characters who have different skills. For example, there is a character that dual-wields two uzis. <br><br>Story<br>Hotline Miami doesn't really have a story. It is more like bits of sentences taped together and THAT IS OK because this game was advertised as "no story but great gameplay". Hotline Miami 2 however has a fleshed-out story.<br><br>TLDR: Great soundtrack. Tight controls. Gorgeous visuals. AI sometimes bugs out. Good achievements.
