There will be chaos, laughter, and uncontrollable excitement! In Party Animals, players will assume the role of fuzzy fighters: seemingly adorable animals like cats, dogs, otters, and unicorns, to name a few. Don’t let their cuteness fool you. These creatures are all about fighting!
Gameplay
The mechanics of the game are pretty simple: players have to control their avatars using a variety of basic fighting moves, including punching, kicking, jumping, throwing, and headbutting their opponents. They can also use some weapons like crossbows or some sort of electro-shocking device. The goal is straightforward: defeat everyone else and be the last man standing! All moves are allowed: you can also team up with other players and betray them to secure your win. Fair or not, Party Animals is a game meant to be unpredictable and chaotic.
The environment of the game will, similarly to Gang Beasts, respond to what is happening around it and also act independently. That will mean lots of funny and unexpected moments: a black hole sucking everyone in, a train coming out of nowhere, or a rocket launching. Those might stop even the fiercest fighters, so be careful and use the elements of the environment to your advantage.
Maps are colorful and pretty diverse, so expect no boredom. Each game will be fun and filled with unexpected surprises. Locations are also pretty chaotic: you’ll fight in ancient ruins, a running train, a plane, a Christmas village, a football pitch, and many, many more! Each map boasts unique mechanics that enrich the gameplay. Some of them require cooperation, some will just randomly appear during the battle, forcing you to think on your feet.
