- Strange that they should call this game Blasphemous when everything it does seems to be visually sacred as all hell.<br><br>Amazing pixel art, unique aesthetics and a solid combat system make this pilgrimage worthy of treading. I would say the only negative that came to bother me was the platforming--you get use to it but there's a "heft" to the jumps that you have to get use to and it feels off enough that it'll likely cost you one or two lives.<br><br>If you've a love of horror, religious iconography and dark fantasy, this is a metroidvania that really should be in your library by now.

Game play, graphics, and story were all very good and I especially loved the unique, dark and violent Catholic-like theme. Another thing I loved was the imaginative and vast enemy/location variety.<br>The one and only issue I'd say I had with the game was that I encountered a specific bug at least 2-3 times. This would occur in specific areas where I died, mainly fall deaths, where when I went back to the area of my death to clear the guilt penalty, the statue you pick up to erase it would stay hovering in the air and would not be retrievable.
