Battle Network

Mega Man Battle Network is a series of tactical role-playing games and a spin-off of the beloved Mega Man franchise. The Legacy Collection Vol. 1 includes four games originally released in the early 2000s for the Game Boy Advance console: the original Mega Man Battle Network, its direct sequel Mega Man Battle Network 2, and two versions of Mega Man Battle Network 3: Blue and White.

Gameplay

The gameplay of the games included in Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 1 relies on strategic real-time battles against computer opponents or other players. You use your deck of cards to summon various attacks and techniques that can help you win the battle. All four games are packed with a variety of different levels and challenges, so there's plenty to explore. And given the classic visuals, you'll be taken back in time as you progress through this old-school adventure!

The setting

Mega Man Battle Network takes players to a different world than the one known in the original series. In this alternate universe, people communicate mostly through the Battle Network, where they use their avatars called Network Navigators (or simply NetNavi). Players assume the role of Lan Hikari, who solves crimes with the help of his NetNavi MegaMan.EXE.
