Over hyped; the original release was so over hyped; after 2 years it finally has the features they promised; too little too late. It's still the same boring game with lack of story or feeling of accomplishment.

Even after the updates, this still remains a game that you're either going to absolutely love, or within 40 minutes of playing, absolutely hate and have no idea why people say it's good. For me personally, it's the controls that kills it. I absolutely love the concept of the game... Except the FOV/sensitivity is so janky that I can't play for more than like 20 minutes without getting nauseous. I want to love this game so badly, but the controls make it impossible for me. Also, getting loaded into your first planet and having it be a hell hole is.... Not fun whatsoever if it's the first time you've ever played and have no idea wtf you're doing.

No doubt that at launch, the game was a mess. Constant, sometimes game breaking bugs, lies from the devs, and a laughable end game. However, the game has certainly hit its stride over the past couple of years. Very fun game to chill with, along with some very fun flying mechanics. Intro is a little grindy and repetitive, but once the game opens up, it's quite fun.

The game is cool concerning the exploration, a lot of differents planets with specific weather condition, the fact that you can name species with name like "three paws chicken" is just excellent. Finally, the space battle with some dumb pirates who crashes under the foot of Albator is really pleasant because we never know what will happenned next.The system of missions from space stations is cool (except the photo mode of planets who made me rage like a psycho). There's a bunch of fancy spaceship with reference from star wars and stargate.

Von Bestellung bis Lieferung des Steam Codes hat es nur wenige Minuten gedauert. Ich kannte das Spiel No Man´s Sky bis dato nur vom hören und sehen, und konnte mir bei der Bestellung noch kein klares Bild machen, aber nun nach einigen Spieltagen muss ich sagen, dass es sehr spannend und fesselnd ist. Das Beste für mich ist aber das es auch Reibungslos unter Steam Proton funktioniert. Danke

I remember when this game launched, it was a total mess, barely playable and missing most of the promised features, the developers did what they had to, they ducked down their heads and started working on patches and free content for the game and now it is even better than what they promised at first and everything included with the base game (for now) :P.

When No Man's Sky was first released, it was a flop, but I still enjoyed pouring hours into my ps4 version. With the newest updates, everything that was once promised is there: co-op/multiplayer, more combat, a more engaging story, etc. It's a blast and I can't wait to make my way through the depths of space once more!

So this game was in the beginning a very different game. Thankfully the developers have really stuck to their promises and are constantly updating the game with fixes and new content. I wouldnt have recommended playing it a few years ago but now its seems worthwhile and you can enjoy the game as it should be.

After a horrible launch and a painful start, in summer 2020 the game is actually worth your time and money.There have been several significant content patches, adding wheeled vehicles, hovercraft and a submarine. The crafting and survival mechanics have been significantly expanded. The ship and multitool upgrade system has also been reworked almost fully and base-building has been added. The number of small graphical tweaks and improvements is too great to list.The game can also be played in creative / freedom mode without grinding for resources and having access to all upgrades and vehicles with unlimited money, if you want a casual romp through the galaxy, just to explore some planets.The bottom line is, if you are not spending 60 dollars on NMS and you are getting its content from 2020 and onwards, it's actually worth your time and is an enjoyable game.
