Football Manager 26
- Release date: November 4, 2025
- Platforms: PC, MacOS, PS5, Xbox Series S|X
Football Manager 25 was delayed and ultimately canceled, leaving virtual coaches without a new game but giving the developer more time to work on the game. As a result, the expectations are now sky-high. Especially for that, FM26 brings a lot of changes. It was built on the Unity engine for the first time, so it offers a completely revamped user interface. The match engine has been overhauled, delivering more realistic animations, enhanced player movement, and detailed stadium atmospheres. A major tactical innovation allows players to set distinct strategies for in-possession and out-of-possession scenarios, adding depth for seasoned managers while presenting a learning curve for newcomers.
The game also includes women’s football and, for the first time, has the FIFA license, so the prestigious World Cup, Women’s World Cup, and Club World Cup tournaments will be faithfully portrayed in the game. We shall see if those changes allow the series to raise the bar. The game will debut on November 4, but fans playing on Nintendo Switch have to wait until December 4, 2025.

The gameplay uses the hack-and-slash formula typical of the Warriors series. As a result, players will battle large groups of enemies and powerful bosses. New mechanics include the use of Zonai Devices, which can alter the battlefield and enhance combat strategies. The game also supports two-player local co-op, either via split-screen or GameShare. Thus, players can team up and tackle missions together.

It’s a great time to be a shooter fan. In October, Battlefield 6 premiered, and now the new Call of Duty will follow. Like its archrival, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set in the near future. It will take us to the year 2035, where we’ll follow the story of David Mason and his elite JSOC team as they uncover a global conspiracy in the Mediterranean city of Avalon.
The game features a co-op campaign that allows players to team up or play solo across diverse environments, including neon-lit rooftops in Tokyo and the Mediterranean coast. Online modes are the heart of the series, and in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, players can fight on 16 6v6 maps and two 20v20 maps. The game also introduces the new Overload game mode and a refined Omnimovement system, which includes wall jump mechanics for dynamic navigation. Zombies mode returns with its largest round-based map to date, Ashes of the Damned, set in the Dark Aether. This mode introduces new features such as the Wonder Vehicle, Wisp Tea Perk, and the Necrofluid Gauntlet Wonder Weapon. The game also brings back Classic Prestige, allowing players to climb through 10 levels to unlock exclusive rewards.
Battlefield 6 was praised by both players and critics. We’re very curious if the new Call of Duty will be able to surpass this success.
