Frostpunk 2 release date and platforms
In March 2024, 11 Bit Studios announced that Frostpunk 2 would come out on July 25, 2024. On June 28, the developer communicated that the release would be postponed. The new premiere date has been fixed for September 20. The game directors explained that after the Frostpunk 2 beta, the studio received valuable feedback, and the developers needed more time to implement changes and features the community suggested. Initially, the game will be available on PC. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X versions will follow later. Moreover, the game will be included in Game Pass from its premiere. The Deluxe Edition contains three DLCs. Consequently, we know that 11 Bit Studios plans to expand the game after its release.
