The most important gaming release this June will arguably be the premiere of Switch 2, planned for June 5. However, we will also get numerous exciting titles for other platforms, including the new game from the one and only Hideo Kojima.
Mario Kart World
- Release date: June 5, 2025
- Platforms: Nintendo Switch 2

Many interesting games will come out together with the long-awaited Switch 2 console. Most of them are updated versions of Switch games and ports of such hits as Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring. However, there are also some Switch 2 exclusives. Mario Kart World is arguably the most exciting of them.
It will be the first open-world Mario Kart game. Consequently, all the tracks are connected, so you can freely explore the entire map and uncover its secrets. It seems like a great addition to this long-running series.
Dune: Awakening
- Release date: June 10, 2025
- Platforms: PC

Funcom, the studio behind The Longest Journey and Conan Exile, will take us to Arrakis. Dune: Awakening is a multiplayer survival game set in the universe created by Frank Herbert. Interestingly, it presents a different timeline than we know from the novel. In this version, Paul has never been born, Leto Atreides survives an assassination attempt, and the war between House Atreides and House Harkonnen spreads on Arrakis.
You will assume the role of a Bene Gesserit agent who must uncover the enigma of the Fremen’s mysterious disappearance. The game offers complex building and crafting mechanics. Combat is an essential part of the gameplay, but PVP fights are optional.
Stellar Blade
- Release date: June 11, 2025
- Platforms: PC

The action-adventure game created by the Korean Shift Up studio has found a lot of fans among PlayStation 5 players. Now, PC owners will also have a chance to give it a try. You will follow EVE on her mission to save the remnants of humanity and reclaim Earth after a devastating alien invasion. Stellar Blade boasts fast-paced combat, exploration, and some mind-blowing twists.
The PC version of Stellar Blade offers several enhancements, including AI upscaling, unlocked frame rate, ultrawide display support, higher-resolution environment textures, and DualSense controller features like haptic feedback. Players will also get a new boss fight and 25 new costumes added.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic
- Release date: June 13, 2025
- Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5

The eleventh installment in the series that will make you hate animatronic toys takes players to the abandoned Murray’s Costume Manor. Players will face the titular Mimic, a prototype endoskeleton that can wear any costume in the workshop. As a result, you will never know who the monster is. Kind of like in the iconic The Thing.
Like its predecessors, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic is a horror game that will test your nerves with jump scares, a tense atmosphere, and disturbing characters and environments.
The Alters
- Release date: June 13, 2025
- Platforms: PC, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5

The new game from the creators of This War of Mine and Frostpunk takes us to a remote planet. Players will play as Jan Dolski, the only survivor of a fatal expedition. Now, he has to escape from the hostile corner of space, where he has been trapped. It’s a task too difficult for a single person. Fortunately, Jan won’t be lonely for long, as he can create the eponymous Alters, other versions of himself, who are based on pivotal choices that Jan has made.
The Alters combines exploration, crafting, and exploration. The games from 11 Bit Studio are known for tough choices and emotional charge, and the new one won’t make an exception. Each version of Jan has a slightly different personality, and your relations with them will have an impact on the outcome.
FBC: Firebreak
- Release date: June 17, 2026
- Platforms: PC, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5

Remedy is a renowned creator of single-player action-adventure games with an elaborate narrative, but the studio’s upcoming title explores completely different territory. FBC: Firebreak is a cooperative FPS set in the Oldest House, the mysterious building known from Control.
You will join a three-player team and work together to stop weird creatures plaguing the Federal Bureau of Control’s headquarters. According to Remedy, FBC: Firebreak requires perfect teamwork and quick thinking.
Rematch
- Release date: June 19, 2026
- Platforms: PC, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5

There are a lot of football games, but Rematch looks like something slightly different, as it allows you to control only one player in 5v5 matches. There are no players’ stats; hence, everything comes down to your skills. Fouls or rules such as the offside are also absent, providing a quick and intense gameplay.
Like all online games, Reamtch requires a sustainable number of players. If this unusual football game manages to draw enough attention, it can be quite successful. And one last thing, if you believe that Rematch looks like Sifu, you’re right because both games were developed by the same studio, Sloclap.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
- Release date: June 26, 2025
- Platforms: PlayStation 5

Finally, after six long years, we will get a new Hideo Kojima game. The Death Stranding sequel continues the journey of Sam Bridges, with Norman Reedus reprising his role as the protagonist. It also features an impressive cast, including Léa Seydoux as Fragile, Troy Baker as Higgs, Elle Fanning as Tomorrow, Debra Wilson as Doctor, Shioli Kutsuna as Rainy, Luca Marinelli as Neil, Alissa Jung as Lucy, and Alastair Duncan as the president. Additionally, players will encounter characters inspired by three renowned directors: George Miller, Fatih Akin, and Nicolas Winding Refn.
The game will ponder the question not whether the remnants of humanity standing on the verge of extinction can connect, but whether they should do it.
