Stellar Blade gameplay and combat
The game steers into the cosmos, meshing space-opera grandeur with the adrenaline of action role-playing games. At its core, Stellar Blade marries a compelling story with dynamic combat and sprawling environments.
Stellar Blade’s gameplay centers on a third-person view, where combat is all about mastering enemy attack patterns and effectively countering them. Eve possesses two Gauges – the Beta Gauge and the Burst Gauge. As these Gauges fill up, players can unleash special skills and abilities in combat. Moreover, players will be immersed in combat thanks to DualSense haptic feedback.
Eve can freely explore the world around her thanks to many traversal options. On her way, she’ll meet many NPCs offering optional quests, as well as many enemies: both alien and human. Exploring the ruined world is necessary to find new equipment. Supply camps scattered around the world will grant not only that but also let the player rest and restore health.
Stellar Blade story
In this game, players embark on a journey to a post-apocalyptic Earth, where an enigmatic adversary known as the Naytiba forced humanity to evacuate their planet and establish a Colony in space. The protagonist, Eve, is tasked with a mission to vanquish the enemy and liberate Earth from its dominance.
On her journey, as she traverses through the desolate remnants of once-thriving cities, she will encounter resilient survivors who have adapted to this harsh new world. These survivors, initially cautious and guarded, will slowly warm up to Eve, recognizing her sincerity and determination. Over time, they will not only extend their trust to her but also provide valuable assistance in her crucial mission. In addition to their support, they will present her with challenging quests to undertake and equip her with essential tools and resources to aid her in her endeavors.
When is Stellar Blade coming out?
This anticipated title will be released on April 26, 2024. This piece of information was confirmed during the State of Play in January 2024.

Since the game is set to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, players on PC and Xbox will not have access to this title upon its release. It’s worth noting that several major PlayStation exclusives have made their way to PCs in the past, with examples like the recent launch of Horizon Forbidden West.
