Yes, you heard it right!! Hell is coming to Earth with a new gang of demons from Mars in Eternal. It’s no surprise that DOOM fans all around the world have been waiting anxiously for the new best-selling shooter series, which is, definitely the one DOOM Eternal. Let’s not forget the fact that Doom 2016 has managed to improve or at least add to the previous formula which adds to its incredible achievement. But will Doom eternal raise the success bar high and live up to its legacy? So far, we can expect that Doom Eternal might manage it.

Creative Director Hugo Martin and game director Marty Stratton discussed the title and some gameplay mechanics with Gameindustry.biz that people can anticipate. “When we finished DOOM 2016, we knew we surprised people and a lot of people just wanted more,” said Stratton. Well, that’s undoubtedly true, as 2016’s DOOM was a blockbuster between both its fans and critics alike, which left people wanting for its sequel already. With Doom Eternal’s heavy-hitting sound effects by Mick Gordon, the game can put up a rocking concert on steroids.

Expanding the player’s choices
Let’s do some fun and exciting talk about the newly added features, which have expanded the player’s choices towards an offensive play.
BATTLE MODE:
Hugo Martin, gave some details about this new and interesting feature of the series called Battle mode. In battle mode, you will get the option to choose to play either as a demon or the Slayer of your own choice. Each character has its unique skills and weaknesses, so no matter which side you are on there is a level playing field. Five series of matchups are going to be played and the best of it will determine the winner. Winners will be awarded the power items that they can carry over to the next levels, such as for the Slayer the BFG weapon or for the demon side the ability to summon the Baron of Hell.

FLAME BELCHER:
Besides killing for health or splitting them open for ammo, you will now grab a convenient new “flame belcher”, armor, which is a second resource you can easily manage. With the help of armor pickups, set your enemies on fire and meanwhile kill them as they burn. Thus, tilting the odds in your favour by simply and perfectly increasing your choices in any given scenario.
Enemy weak points:
The game has a new gun which lets you pick off the weak points of your enemy, with its pinpoint accuracy and offers devastating damage equivalent to the shotgun. This another new element of enemy weak points are hoped to add some more complexity to combat.
Fast controls:
The speed is perfectly incorporated with you letting yourself off the chains in enemy encounters. Eternal is said to be a smidge speedier than Doom 2016, but you will definitely feel a difference in control that you will bring to battles.

DOOM Eternal was set to release on November 22nd for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, and PC. But its launch has been delayed to March 20, 2020. Bethesda Softworks publisher and id Software publicized the delay on Twitter. id Software told that they are delaying Doom Eternal so that it “will live up to our standards of speed and polish.”
