As far as first-person shooter games go, there is something hugely satisfying and thrilling about Rage 2. Few things are as enjoyable as killing and being destructive in a post-apocalyptic future without any real-world consequences and Rage 2 has everything that you need to feel challenged and entertained at the same time.

Set in a catastrophic era where earth lies in ruins following a disastrous asteroid impact, numerous beings are forced into hibernation underground as the surface fights off mutants and leadership from an oppressive regime that goes by the Authority.
It is up to players to, therefore, liberate everyone being held against their will while dismantling the Authority and all who subscribe to its tyrannical rule. Rage 2 truly offers players an expansive experience that is often missing in other first-person shooter games.
What can you expect from Rage 2?
Rage 2 will operate at 1080p 30FPS on PS4, while the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will run at 60FPS and 1080p. Xbox One players, on the other hand, will have to contend with 900p. as always, you can expect the same old dark humor in Rage 2 that you have become accustomed to, as well as an array of massive mutants and bandits to destroy as well as the high octane vehicular action that you need to keep you glued to the game.
In Rage 2, expect to also come across a new protagonist known as Walker. Walker has all the anger and rage that is needed to extinguish the mutants, bandits, and of course the Authority. The vehicles also make a comeback- and you will be pleased to know that they look more rugged and craggier than ever.
There were only 5 vehicle options in the original Rage installation and Rage 2 will have more options to appease players that prefer more variety and flexibility with their sets of wheels. Players will also get a lot of customizable options to choose from for their vehicles.

The Gameplay
Designed to be a shorter verse, the gameplay in Rage 2 offers a perfect balance of a shooter and an open-world game, which is a little different from the previous iteration, which was not primarily open world but was made up of a series of open areas and hubs that had been linked together. There are also elements of a Mad-Max-style ecosphere where plenty of adventure awaits eager players.
