Three main starting choices – The Lifepaths
Cyberpunk 2077 allows players to choose their path. At the beginning of the game they will be welcomed with a screen where three main quest lines are presented. Thanks to this solution the player can shape their gameplay right from the start. The main starting points are:
- Corporate: This path will allow the player to take part in the ‘The Corpo-rat‘ quest. Start the game as an underappreciated blue collar who just got his/her promotion stolen. Find the justice for yourself and climb the corporate ladder
- Nomad: This lifepath allows the player to take part in the ‘Nomad‘ quest line. Start your journey in the Badlands and do everything you can to get into the Nightcity. You will achieve the goal of visiting the Night City by taking a risky smuggling contraband mission.
- Streetkid: As the lifepath’s name suggest, taking up this choice will allow you to start the ‘Streetkid‘ quest line. Start your journey at a bar, where the bartender informs you about the unpaid debt. To pay it you will have to take up risky mission. It’s up to you to settle with the barkeep.
Character customization
The game developers put a lot work into character customization. The goal of such extensive and detailed freedom is to make the game as immersive and indulging as possible. You can modify your character almost in every aspect, CD project even promoted genitalia-modifying as a part of the immersive gameplay mechanic. Of course, you can expect much more than that, create your character from bottom to top and show Night City your style!
