- A melee fighter, Viper excels at dealing damage up close, aligning with the Scouting gear type alongside the Ninja. It employs swift dual-blade strikes and impactful blows with a two-handed weapon.
- Pictomancers, on the other hand, are unique casters that wield brushes to cast spells and some support abilities.

The long-awaited female Hrothgar join the ranks of playable races in Dawntrail.
