After months of boiling with hot new games, this December seems much colder. Fortunately, it doesn’t mean there won’t be any new releases worth waiting for. Let’s wrap up the most exciting premieres of the last month of 2023.
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition
- Release date: December 5, 2023
- Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

The Cyberpunk 2077 release was marked by technical issues, mostly concerning the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 ports. Luckily, the series of patches fixed the game and added new features, whereas the premiere of the highly praised Phantom Liberty DLC let CD Project RED redeem itself completely. Therefore, if you haven’t played this outstanding RPG yet, you will have the perfect opportunity in December.
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition involves the base game and the expansion. Hence, you’ll have a chance to visit the dystopian world of Night City and uncover all the possibilities it offers. The game will be released exclusively on platforms where it works (almost) flawlessly: PC and next-gen consoles.

Kingpin: Reloaded
- Release date: December 5, 2023
- Platforms: PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

It’s a remaster of Kingpin: Life of Crime, an FPS originally released in 1999. It gained a lot of publicity due to its mature story revolving around the gangster’s revenge on his former partners in crime, a high level of violence, a dark atmosphere, and a quasi-retro setting.
Kingpin: Reloaded was brought to life by Slipgate Ironworks. The remaster features 4K resolution, 60 FPS, ultrawide support, and a new quest system. Players may choose between the classic and enhanced modes.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- Release date: December 7, 2023
- Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is an open-world action-adventure game set in a captivating universe crafted by James Cameron. The title, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, tells an original story, so you won’t recreate events from the Avatar movies. Moreover, it introduces a brand new region of Pandora called the Western Frontier.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will let players assume the role of a Na’vi warrior and fight against the Resources Development Administration (RDA), striving to seize their sacred land. We’re wondering if Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine will be able to elevate the game to the visual level of the Avatar movies.
