Division 2 will introduce you to an array of powerful and Exotic weapons. You will be introduced to an arsenal of weapons that consists of Guns such as The Chatterbox, Liberty, and Merciless, which are effective tools that are available in various builds. Though these weapons are accessible to anyone that can get to them, they are not as easy to access as one would expect, which is all part of the challenge.
To gain access, most of these weapons require players to participate in drawn-out quest lines, while others require players to take part in hours and hours of fighting in the same mission. The exotics in Division 2 are some of the best you will encounter so you will want to do everything that you can to upgrade whenever the chance is available to you.
What exactly are Exotics in Division 2?
The Exotics in Division 2 generally appear to players as they progress through post-apocalyptic Washington. The exotics are located all over, which means that they are not to difficult to find or spot. With a golden hue and markers to distinguish their importance, the guns stand out whether they are lying somewhere on the ground or holstered on the player. Each of the weapons has a story and a theme behind it and it is up to the player to keep an eye out for them. Some of the most common exotics include:
Ruthless
Ruthless is an assault rifle that is only available on a pre-order basis. If you do not acquire t by the time you get to the White House, it will be impossible to get it at all.
Chatterbox
Chatterbox is a submachine gun that is one of the more difficult exotics to acquire. To get it, players have to farm for keys, as well as unlock caches to gain access.
Liberty
Liberty is an exotic pistol that can cause a lot of damage when used correctly. Liberty can only be acquired after a boss known as Captain Kendra Nelson is taken down in Capitol Hill.
Sweet Dreams
Sweet Dreams is capable of firing 70 RPM. Although it may not be as useful to a player in the beginning stages, it will definitely come in handy later on.

Merciless is an assault rifle that is 6th in line. This ferocious double-shot rifle is perfect for anyone that wants to be ruthless and merciless.

Pestilence is the only LMG included in the game. Though it looks dangerous, the 7th exotic is a little underwhelming compared to all the rest but you can still utilize it to fight back.
Nemesis
Nemesis is the marksman rifle. This exotic sniper is time gated so you will have to do a bit of work to gain access to it.
