After years of inactivity, Konami came back to announce the release of Contra Rogue Corps. The name draws memories of Contra: Hard Corps, and Hard Corps: Uprising. A twin-stick shooter game, Rogue Corps serves as the comeback of the experienced director Nobuya Nakazato.

Main Storyline
In Rogue Corps, players take on one of the four crazy characters ignoring the mad effects of the city. Each of the four characters has a different skill set. There is Kaiser, from Allien Wars with an arm that converts into a drill. The Gentleman who thinks everyone else is mad and vulgar, Hungry Beast and Ms. Harakiri, a filthy and a swift assassin.
With multiple player modes, players can play as friends or face other damned troops alone. You can upgrade your abilities by collecting organs or cybernetic body parts. And pay for surgeries with your collected ammunitions. You can loot from enemies after completing missions, and players develop more potent weapons as they win more treasurers.
