Arkane Lyon Return with Deathloop

Developers of the award-winning Dishonored returned at the Bethesda E3 2019, with a grand announcement; the planned release of a new first-person game Deathloop. Based on their previous success with Dishonored, there is no doubt you have everything to look forward to in the latest game.

DeathLoop offers a whole set of a new experience and will reveal a strategical deviation from the previous productions of Arkane Loop. The setup of the game looks innovative and has graphics so distinctive from the other works of the studio.

The game takes place in a mysterious island; Black Reef- where there are no escape routes. So you can imagine how ruthless players can get when faced with no option but to die or kill.

Intense and relentless battles frequent the island, making Deathloop a haven for gamers who love bloody fighting.

Featuring two assassins, who hunt each other like lunatics the game is unreal. With an unshakable desire to kill, the killers have no mercy and take down any opponent coming their way, making the island a galore of frenzy battles.

With the two protagonists having opposing goals, there is no option for dialogue. While Juliana is adamant about protecting the killing cycle, Colt is persistently using all his powers to break the death cycle. One protagonist; Cole, thinks the island is hell and the exact opposite of what he earlier thought. On the other hand, Julia believes she can only find her purpose on the island.

Each player wields loads of explosives and weaponry. From Snippers to shotguns to machetes, no player is risking. Apart from the weapons, the protagonists have some extraordinary powers enabling them to teleport or zoom into opponents.

In the island, there is no law, and players can do anything they want, as long as they achieve their mission. In a time loop-like setting, if other players take you down, you restart your mission until you succeed. And you’re only victorious when you have taken down all the opposing forces.

With a stunning set of environment, the game is full of adventure, and it sets players for an experience of a high-level immersion. DeathLoop also features meticulously designed levels, bound to test your strategizing skills.

Storyline

DeathLoop features players with opposing goals. Play starts when DeathLoop transports you to the island.

You will hop into the island, thinking it is paradise only to get entangled in unsparing fights. You will have a choice of either remaining in the island and protecting the “cycle” or battle to break it and go scot-free.
