PennyPlay, a new GAMIVO promotion, has just started. It will let you buy valuable products for a fraction of their actual worth. Read this article to learn how it works and how to get the most out of it.
What is PennyPlay?
The PennyPlay promotion lets you join auctions where you use your bids to win a chance to buy the most-desired products, such as Steam and GAMIVO gift cards, at incredible discounts. If you’re lucky, you can get €50 items for a few dollars or less!
How to get bids?
You’re probably curious about how you can get those bids. Everyone starts with 10 bids, and during the promotion, every purchase on GAMIVO grants you free bids! You’ll get 2 bids for each euro spent. Thus, the greater the value of games or other products you buy, the more bids you’ll get.
Bids are always free, so you can’t buy or sell them. However, some products may come with a huge chunk of bonus bids, so keep your eyes peeled!
How do the auctions work?
PennyPlay auctions work like most auctions you’ve already known. Nonetheless, there are some twists. First of all, you don’t risk your money, because you bid with your free bids. Each bid raises the price by one cent. The user whose bid is the last one wins the auction and can buy the product at the price set in the course of the auction.
Theoretically, the price can reach the actual value of the product. In such a scenario, the auction automatically ends, and the last bidder can buy the product. Consequently, the price can never exceed the product’s value.
Anti-sniper protection
Do you know those guys who join the auction in the very last auction? We don’t let the snipers spoil the PennyAuction fun. Hence, each bid within the last 9 seconds of the auction sets the counter back to 9 seconds.
BidBuddy, your bidding friend
Bidding is fun. However, we understand that you might not have time to actively add bids in all your favorite auctions. Therefore, we created BidBuddy, a smart tool that can add bids for you. You decide how many bids you want to use, and BidBuddy will use them near the end of the auction to make sure you’re on top.
