The highly-anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 has been available in an Ultimate Edition, Special Edition and Standard Edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One since Oct. 26, 2018. The question that’s still on everyone’s mind is will Red Dead Redemption 2 be making an appearance on PCs in the near future. The answer is yes!

It will also be available at a variety of storefronts, including the Epic Games Store, GameStop, Humble Store and others. If you’re purchasing through Steam, you’ll have to wait until December. FiveM announced that it’s already been hard at work creating multiplayer tools for use in the PC game that it’s dubbed RedM. The tools are planned to be launched about a month after the release of RDR2 on PC. Gaming fans have waited a long time for Red Dead Redemption 2 and the wait has been exacerbated by the fact that the original Red Dead Redemption was never released on PC. There were several reasons for that. Rockstar Games said it was waiting for it to be viable technically and business-wise. Translation – when it will make enough money. Evidently the company believes that RDR2’s potential is such that it warrants PC play. Gamers think so, too.
