Two years later...

Nepgear and the other Candidates were sent to an abandoned research facility to look into a monster breakout while the Goddesses were abroad attending to a distress call from the remote PC Continent. They came across the Ashen Goddess there, who imprisoned them in a vessel and put them to sleep. They were shocked to learn that two years had gone by when they finally opened their eyes...
