Snake returns

The Phantom Pain begins nine years after the events featured in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros. Venom Skane awakes in 1984 after an almost decade-long coma. He creates a new military group to track down and eliminate people responsible for his companions' death. Recruit your new crew, including a sniper, a horse, and even a wolf pup. Every soldier needs their mase, so you will build and expand your headquarter.

Exiting combat

Dominate the battlefield with Snake's skills. Take advantage of stealth technics to deceive and eliminate enemies without been detected. Use a wide range of weapons and cutting-edge gadgets such as night-vision goggles and stealth camouflage.

The new era of the MGS franchise

The MGS series has pushed the boundary of video games from the start. This time Hideo Kojima presents a vast open-world with a realistic passage of time with the day-night cycle and real-time weather. Enjoy the ultimate freedom. Explore the map to find treasures and valuable items to upgrade your base. Complete missions and progress through the story however you like and in order of your choosing.

One word...atmospheric.

Two months ago I got two copies from Gamivo. One for me, and one for my best friend. Results? Hours upon hours of talking about Phantom Pain. It is simply an amazing game. Some people say it's world is empty, but I love it. It reminds me of Far Cry 2 and it gives such a nice melancholic feeling of being alone in the deserts of Afghan or jungles of Africa. Just you, your gun and your wits. Great replay value and best of all. It's really long game. Right now on 35% and 52 hours. With price low as this, it's a must. It's also one of the best rated games of all time.

MGSV: The Phantom Pain

I've never played a MSG before, but I am thoroughly enjoying this game. Runs great, missions are fun, graphics are beautiful. I have a couple minor gripes - it's clearly aimed at using a controller. With the mouse and keyboard, it often gives you instructions on which gamepad button to push. minor nit though, as about 20 minutes in i had all the controls down anyhow. I also wasn't wild about the opening. I wanted to play, not watch a movie. The whole play for 20 seconds then watch a two minute cutscene thing got really old, really fast, and after about the 9th time, I thought "they are kidding right?" At any rate, the rest of the game is amazing so far, so 9.5/10 for me, which rounds up to 10.

Amazing game, very addicting, you can get lost in it for hours even if you just started playing it. Would recommend to anyone that has played any Metal Gear game before, and even to people who are just getting into the game series.
The game has a solid multiplayer but no one seems to be active currently, so you might as well get some friends to play with.

Not a typical kojima game but very fun

The game doesn't really focus on advancing the story most of the cut scenes are just filler the story is in the audio tapes but the meat of the games is just being a military sandbox and it just excels at it with upgrades that re worth spending 100s of hours unlocking, in the end a very fun game.

well if you did buy the game thinking that it will be a simple and easy stealth game like Thief or DEUS EX then i have some bad news for you lol , MGS is more of a open world (first one in the serie) simulation tactical/stealth game , enemies can spot you from miles away , and hear your steps if you're sneaking behind them or opening doors or even when you're using your idroid if you're too close , so you're be crouching and crouching most of the time , there is also a base management , army recruiting , weapons and items developing , war economy ..ect
for the story , MGS is well known for its complicated plot but damn what a trip an mind blowing it was specially the plot twist in the end .
gameplay , it may look hard at first but with some patience you will master it and enjoy it ,you got 2 big open maps with 50 main missions and 157 side missions + a lot of collectibles.
graphically its really beautiful.
multiplayer is still on.
